After you get pregnant your doctor may not allow you to start a heavy exercise routine, but if you already have been exercising you will probably be able to continue. For instance, if you ran 3 miles everyday before you got pregnant, you could probably continue running during the pregnancy. However, after you become pregnant is no time to start pushing your body and conditioning yourself to become a runner.
